Born 1958 in Takapuna, Auckland, New Zealand. After graduating from Auckland Technical Institute with a Diploma in Graphic Design I worked in many forms of the print communication media. Primarily as an illustrator/designer in advertising, public relations, publishing, magazine and book design. While working as a graphic designer I also pursued fine art projects and in 2005 decided to devote myself entirely to these works. I also took up a position with the New Zealand Historic Places Trust working at the Auckland properties of Alberton, Highwic and Ewelme Cottage. I have had solo exhibitions at Arts Desire Gallery Warkworth, Cotter House and Highwic in Auckland. Recently I have participated in group shows at Northart Gallery in Northcote and am having a solo exhibition there in 2014.
